OPERATIONS TERMINALS. In addition to our corporate office in Riverdale, NJ, we have terminals or drop yards in Willard, OH; Chicago, IL; Breese, IL; Atlanta, GA; and Indianola, MS. TRACTORS. All drivers are issued an assigned late model conventional tractor, (CONDO'S ONLY), equipped with Qualcomm Satellite Communications and email cab cards. HOME TIME. Drivers living in our primary service area are entitled to be home every other weekend. A drivers "due home date" is treated with utmost priority and over 75% of our drivers get home weekly. MILES. Drivers average 2800 miles a week, and it is not unusual to have many drivers with over 3000 miles a week. DISPATCH. All drivers are assigned to one specific "driver manager" to ensure that complete and consistent communication is accomplished. NO NYC required! PAY EXPERIENCED. New Drivers with 2 years OTR experience will have a minimum starting rate of .33 a mile. Drivers with less than 2 years experience will have a starting rate depending on level of experience. Decker welcomes all levels of experience. (See Per Diem below to see how your net take home will be higher at Decker). Remember it's your take home pay that matters. STUDENTS. Less then 6 months experience can be part of our student training program. PER DIEM. 8 cents of your mileage rate is paid as "per diem" and is exempt from any taxes. This benefit allows take home pay of 2 to 3 cents more per mile based on your specific tax bracket and deductions. ORIENTATION. Drivers will be provided with transportation to our 3 day orientation program in NJ. A nearby Wellesley Inn will be provided during your orientation. Drivers will be given money for lunch and dinner. At the completion of orientation, drivers will be paid $225. FREIGHT. Over 95% of our loads are "no touch". A driver will be paid $40 if they are dispatched on one of the rare loads that requires a drivers labor. Up to 50% of our loads are drop and hook. LAYOVERS. Layover pay is $25. While layovers are not frequent in our operation, they do occur on occasion. STOP OFFS. Pay is $15 per stop excluding the original pick up and final delivery. PAYCHECKS. They are issued weekly and can be sent to your bank via direct deposit or mailed to your house. OTHER BENEFITS HEALTH INSURANCE. Medical, dental, vision, prescription and life insurance is provided after one full calendar month for a nominal fee.
